Gary grew up on a livestock and crop farm by Danube, MN. After getting out of the Air Force in 1968, Gary started selling International Harvester farm equipment. He attended Auctioneers College in Mason City, IA in 1984 and then in 1988 he obtained a Minnesota real estate license. Gary and his wife Holly bought the Hutchinson Livestock Auction Market, Hutchinson, MN in 1994. Currently the Auction Market is selling livestock, hay and straw every Wednesday. Throughout his 42 year career of agricultural sales, Gary's motto has been taken from the moral to a real life tale, "Half a job done is no job done at all." "That's why I love agriculture," he says.
